I’m Tilt, and I’m excited to join the moderation team for the game as Co-mod alongside Jax. Some of you I know and have roleplayed with for years, while many of you are new to me, so I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself.
For those who remember LiveJournal, I began my online RP journey in Vortexx World back in 2007. Since then, I’ve participated in over thirty different games, several of which I continued playing until their closure, and I’ve also helped launch two games as a silent contributor. My old handle was Susurrus, so some of you may hear others refer to me as Sus. I know that has taken on a different meaning over the years, so I adopted Tilt, which is a play on my initials (TLT) and my enjoyment of old pinball machines.
Currently, I am a teacher, primarily instructing Chemistry and Physics at the secondary level, and occasionally teaching Calculus and Trigonometry. I also own and operate a small local tabletop game store in Georgia as well. Which has provided me with ample experience in managing long running games. I have set up and run various campaigns and scenarios for different RPG systems, such as Dungeons & Dragons, Vampire: The Masquerade, and Powered by the Apocalypse, among many others—enough to fill three bookshelves in my office. I especially enjoyed organizing semi-regular events back when I played Kyoya and had the majority of the cast recreate the host club in-game.
I have an eclectic taste in fandoms, so it’s hard to list them all, but some of the ones I commonly play from include Loveless, Cowboy Bebop, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Lord of the Rings, and most recently, Arcane.
I want to thank Jax and the other moderators for accepting me as part of the team. I look forward to helping the game grow and creating a fun, welcoming environment for everyone as we enjoy our shared hobby. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Additionally, if you’d like, feel free to add me on Plurk at tilted_view.
