✨ Do you have an idea for a player plot, a suggestion for the game as a whole, a mod-run event you would like to see? Please feel free to put it in our Suggestion Box! that has been added to the navigation pages.

✨ Please continue to check out our Enable Me/App This Please as we still have many interested players and characters!

✨ Don't forget to come say hello to new players or characters over on our February/March OOC Intro Post

DON'T WORRY the Activity Check is STILL open even though the TDM is going up early! We will be posting the results in a comment below once it is closed!

    GAME GROWTH
✨ Our February/March Test Drive Meme is open ONE DAY EARLY! We thought it would be better if you had a chance for a whole weekend to dig in!

✨ Our December/January test drive saw 32 brand-new characters dip their toes into Iyashikei, with 28 new characters accepted during this time—more than doubling the size of the game in record time!

✨ That brings us to an incredible 50 characters currently active in-game, and we’re beyond excited to see Iyashikei growing like this!

✨ With the addition of a new app mod, we have decided to raise the maximum limit on Application personalities to 1500 words.
    EVENT PREVIEW

What is an Event Preview? This is an opportunity to give you an idea of what's to come!

Is this a plotting post/CR Meme? No, not really. This is to give you an opportunity to get excited or plan accordingly so that you're not scrambling the day the event drops but we aren't going to make anything you need to fill out or say "this is what my characters are going to do." If the community does feel the need for a CR Meme, however, we are more than happy to create that.

    SO WITHOUT FURTHER ADO:

✨ Along the coast of the Outer Rim a beautiful and elaborate, giant pagoda has appeared overnight. While the Solar New Year has come and passed, it is time for the Lunar New Year! The pagoda is so tall that it can be seen from every location in Iyashikei except the Redwood Forest. If the warmth and light emanating from the building doesn't draw you in, the amazingly delicious smells coming from within might draw you in, instead. Yes, it's Council Member, Fairy Godmother's favorite tradition: a ball!

This year's theme: "Lucky Celestial Mysteries" What does that mean? Well, in this particular case, it's a masked ball! It's strongly recommended you pick one of thirteen animals as part of your costume: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Pig, or Cat. Of course, it's just a suggestion.

Don't have an outfit? You have three options!

The Winter Markets have everything for the occasion since the Lunar New Year is a bit later this year than the Solar New Year, so you don't need to worry!

Or you can get help from two Council members, should you so choose.

    What's the catch?
There honestly isn't that much of one for either Council Member, at least, not in the way you might be thinking.

The First Council Member, Dr. Doofenshmirtz: A stick-thin scientist with a strong Drusselstinian accent, will shoot at you with his Dress-inator. It doesn't hurt, mind you, but it can be a bit nerve-racking. His platonic life-partner, a teal platypus in a Fedora, is there to make sure nothing goes awry. While the Dress-inator can give a lovely and complimentary dress to the wearer, that's ALL it can do, just dresses. He doesn't have time to explain the science, mind you, he's got a whole population to help! You're going to have to take care of your own hair and makeup! The good news is, you get to keep the dress afterwards!

The Second Council Member, Fairy Godmother An older, plump, and unassuming woman. Appearing out of thin air and into her hand, you might recognize what looks like a magic wand. With a bibbidi bobbidi boo (yes, really), she'll deck you out from your head to your toes! Hair, jewelry, makeup, mask, and of course, an outfit that goes with your eyes. Unlike the Dress-inator, the wand and spell don't just do dresses! It does suits, gowns, tuxedos, and everything in between - so long as it's formal. What's the catch compared to the Dress-inator? Well, for one, one of your shoes seems to keep slipping off all night, and two, the outfit will completely disappear at midnight, leaving you in the outfit she transformed earlier. You would only be left with a single memento of the outfit to hold onto from then on; this might be the shoes or a piece of jewelry.

No one is OBLIGATED to go to the ball (as with many things, the Council doesn't force anyone to be anywhere they don't want to be), but if you don't go, you might miss out on meeting some of the Council Members in person.

When does the ball end? The ball will last for one day until the stroke of midnight! The Council is busy, after all, and once the ball is over? The pagoda disappears as if it were never there! It's really very impressive magic... or science, hard to say.
