In the aftermath of the Outer Rim necromancy crisis, Iyashikei has entered a period of quiet recovery—one shaped as much by reflection as by relief. With the escalation brought to an end through direct player intervention, the necromancer’s hold over the Dead was finally broken. The spirit-bound entities that once roamed in fog and shadow have since dissipated, their unnatural tethers severed. Though remnants of their passage remain—disturbed earth, lingering chill, the faint memory of something watching—the immediate threat has been extinguished.
In response, the full Council has now returned to Iyashikei in full for the time being.
Those who were injured, drained, or even lost during the conflict have been tended to through a combination of arcane healing and Council intervention. Lives thought ended have been rekindled where possible, and the scars, physical and otherwise, are being carefully addressed. No one who stood against the darkness has been left behind in its wake.
Counseling and support have been made widely available to all affected by the event. Whether one stood on the front lines, uncovered truths in the shadows, or simply endured the creeping dread of those early days, the Council has emphasized that the weight of such experiences is not meant to be carried alone.
Those who rose to meet the threat, who investigated, resisted, protected, and fought, have been openly praised for their courage and resolve. Their actions were instrumental in preventing the crisis from spreading further than it did.
However, the Council has also issued a measured admonishment. Not all choices made during the chaos aligned with the values Iyashikei seeks to uphold. Instances where death was treated as a solution, rather than a last resort, have been addressed with firm but thoughtful censure. The Council’s stance is clear: survival must not come at the cost of losing what makes the city worth saving.
Finally, the one responsible for the crisis has been dealt with.
Though restored to health after the events, as were all, they have been stripped of any influence and power within Iyashikei; the rogue necromancer has been banished. They have been sent back to the world from which they came, cut off entirely from the city and its pathways. Safeguards have been put in place to ensure they will never return.
New Addition to Iyashikei

Test Drive #8:
First up, Test Drive #8 is still going strong, packed with a wide range of fun prompts: from a citywide memory-sharing event, to the arrival of Pokémon. Of course, it will also feature a brand-new KCQ.
New Addition: Cake Hounds
In the wake of the Pokémon’s arrival, another, more unexpected presence has begun to emerge. At the quiet request of Pure Vanilla Cookie, who had only meant to ask for a single, gentle companion, something… sweeter has answered.
Now, scattered throughout the city’s streets, alleyways, gardens, and even the confection-bright lanes of Sweet Street, small creatures have begun appearing: Cake Hounds. Unlike the aggressive swarms some may remember, these are notably more docile, though not entirely without their moments.
Sized to suit their surroundings, they vary enough to comfortably exist alongside both standard residents and the Cookie denizens of Sweet Street. The largest are no bigger than a small dog, comparable to a Pomeranian or Corgi, while others are smaller still—light enough to be carried or to quietly follow at someone’s heels.
They’ve been spotted curled beside resting Pokémon, trailing after farmers in open fields, or napping in warm patches of sunlight. Some seem especially drawn to those in need of comfort, settling nearby without expectation, offering a quiet, steady presence.
